WP3 : Development of a Capacity Building Programme for International Teachers

Based on state-of-the-art analysis, best practices, and the feedback and insights collected from the target groups involved, we developed a manual designed to support teachers and trainers working in international and multicultural educational contexts.
The manual introduces practical methodologies ranging from classroom discussions and group work to strategies for evaluating student engagement and enhancing teacher communication. It also explores the application of Systems Thinking as a way to understand and manage the complexity of
intercultural dynamics.

In addition, the guide provides teachers with practical tools, models, and adaptable exercises, serving as an operational reference for creating learning environments that are participatory, inclusive, and responsive to cultural diversity.
This document was essential for the development of the Training Fiches, which in turn form the foundation of the online course.

Below are the results achivied:

The online course was designed to provide educators with concrete tools, innovative methodologies, and effective strategies to address the challenges of teaching in international contexts. Its main goal is to help teachers create inclusive, engaging, and culturally sensitive learning environments that value student diversity and turn it into an educational resource.
Special emphasis was placed on the use of innovative teaching approaches and the application of systems thinking as a key to understanding and managing the complexity of multicultural dynamics. The course not only offers theories and reference models but also provides practical solutions to improve the engagement and success of international students, while strengthening the skills of educators working in increasingly globalized contexts.
