This report outlines the outcomes of Focus Groups conducted in Italy, Greece, and Netherlands, within the framework of the MODES Project. The project aims to enhance international students’ learning experiences by equipping lecturers with the skills necessary for inclusive classrooms. The focus was on identifying challenges faced by teachers in international learning environments.

The project has reached a pivotal stage of its development with the commencement of WP3 activities, reflected in the creation of training materials and an innovative online course.

These materials are designed to equip participants with the key skills needed to tackle and overcome the challenges of teaching in international contexts, fostering inclusion and engagement among all students.

We are excited to announce the launch of two major components of the MODES project: the Methodological Guide for Teaching in International Contexts and the Exploitation Pack. These  initiatives mark an important milestone in our mission to create inclusive and engaging learningenvironments for all students.

The fourth MODES newsletter highlights the most recent achievements: a TV interview on Rete Oro, the Multiplier Event held at Link Campus University in Rome during the Sustainability Festival, updates on the online course, and progress towards the creation of the Toolkit for Excellence in International Learning. The newsletter also showcases the inclusive teaching methodologies promoted by the project and announces the upcoming final events taking place in September in Leiden.
